Flapping memories of a lost gaze

Cancer left him blind, and the color pink was the last thing he saw. The notebook, which he used during his last years, was his method of healing and decanting. In it, there is a list of 85 written memories of his life. It arises then, a need in me to give back the sight of my father’s memories, to expand them, and intertwine it with my own.
I traveled to take my father's ashes to Machu Picchu. The three times I let the ashes go with the wind, I saw butterflies fly. The sound, which triggers the all of the videos, is the sound of butterflies flapping their wings.
It’s the sound that gives back the sight of a lost gaze.
