Estos videos fueron capturados con un sintetizador de video Paik/Abe diseñado en los años 70. Surgen como un ejercicio de experimentación en el que decido navegar por Chatroulette y tener la conversación más aburrida posible con un desconocido. Se revela cierta nostalgia en la mirada que intenta volver al pasado y conectar con un extraño a través de Internet. Durante la exhibición la mirada está dada por una cámara de vigilancia, y con ella aparece un cambio en la percepción: una pérdida en la mirada.

These videos were captured with a Paik/Abe video synthesizer designed in the 1970s. They emerge as an exercise in experimentation, in which I decide to navigate Chatroulette and have the most boring conversation possible with a stranger. A certain nostalgia is revealed in the gaze that attempts to look back to the past and connect with a stranger through the Internet. During the exhibition, the gaze is given by a surveillance camera, and with it comes a shift in perception: a loss in the gaze.
